The real zest took hold when I became an empty nester. I began making up for lost time, inspired in large part by my mother’s multiple world cruises, which started in 2010—complete with postcards from every port with vivid descriptions of far-flung places and the stories and descriptions she regaled us with upon her return—that stirred a curiosity well beyond the ordinary. Over time, I immersed myself in learning about the world and building trusted relationships with expert partners across the globe.
Today, I lean on that experience and expertise to craft journeys that are as seamless as they are extraordinary. Since founding Sundari Travel in 2019, my passion has been helping others see the world in ways they never imagined—whether that means sailing for months on a grand voyage, escaping to a villa by the sea, or uncovering the side of a destination only the locals know—while ensuring every detail is handled with care and elegance.
My world was small, and “going somewhere” meant visiting my grandparents in a neighboring state. When I began to experience the wider wold, it was eye-opening—but then, as often happens, life took over, and that spark was tucked away for years.

Before joining us, she spent years as a Delta flight attendant exploring the globe, gaining invaluable knowledge of more cities and airports around the world than you can imagine. She now repurposes all of those insights to create journeys that are seamless from the moment you leave home to the moment you return — drawing on her unique perspective to anticipate details others might overlook.
She has an undeniable passion for the details — the kind that turn a trip from wonderful to unforgettable. Alexis approaches research like a treasure hunt, following every lead until she’s unearthed the perfect experience, the ideal connection, the hidden gem. It’s this dedication, paired with an instinct for what will truly resonate with each traveler, that allows her to breathe life into every journey she shapes.
Beyond the office, Alexis is an avid runner, a passionate cook, and a devoted wife, with a spirited Weimaraner who keeps her on her toes (and once figured out how to turn off her iPhone alarm). Since joining Sundari in 2024, she’s become an indispensable part of our story — a true partner in delivering the kind of travel that stays with you long after the journey ends.
